things we like to do on the week-ends

It was a very gloomy Sunday afternoon that we decided to hit the beach for our dog Sammy to run around. First, we stopped at The Pickled Fig for lunch. I like this cafe, but hubby thinks it’s too pretentious and the waiters or owner seemed snob.

Then the rain came, it was pretty heavy at time. But it didn’t damp the kids ( and the dog ) mood to walk along the beach.

We made our second stop for caffeine intake and a bite of sweets at this chic granny café called Wild Poppy. I love this cosy little café at the corner street.

The colorful chairs with crochet rugs and some vintage furniture together with lace and patchwork make you feel like you are at your nana’s home!
