Kaftan is often associated with Islāmic culture. The word kaftan in Morocco is commonly used for one piece dress and in general worn by women in casual or formal occasion.
In lieu of Idul Fitri, I see lots of women wearing this beautiful long dresses around here. As much as I adore the pattern and love the cut, I own none. It’s just not really my style. I probably wear the one that less formal and more relax beach style ( like the one that Nicole Richie worn) if I have to. Meanwhile, here are some kaftan dresses that I find beautiful.
