the art of week-end

So, how was your week-end everyone? I hope you got plenty of relax time, without rush, without fear, without regret and you get to do all it is you wanted to or nothing at all. And when Monday comes, you are full of energy and ready for the week ahead.

My week-end was full on kids’ activity. Saturday we spent almost the whole day ( 8am to 5pm ) at the swimming stadium as the boys were competing in Short Course carnival. I’m telling you, swimming competition is a long day event and can be very tiring for both the swimmers and the spectators. But, when one of your kid won 2 Gold medals and a Bronze and couple of Personal Bests (PB)  and the other mostly got all PBs in every strokes, it kind of made your day!  And this mama couldn’t stop smiling! 🙂

Sunday mid afternoon the boys played Australian Footy League or we called it footy here in Australia.  It’s different from soccer, okay ! :p  This Sunday our club played at our home ground which was great, because the oval is just 3 minutes walking from our home.  So, off we walked to the footy, with our four-legged buddy who seemed to think that he was part of the footy team as well!  We got the task to do the BBQ this week, thank God my other half was in town so he was in charge of the BBQ!

After the footy finished, my other-half and I had lunch date at our fave spot, the weather was sunny enough only bit windy!  Then we drove  around the Fremantle area for a while, before heading home to pick up the boys and dropped them off at the birthday party! My oh my…I think my boys have more social life than me!

Well, that was all our week-end went by. Full on sport activities I know! Hope your week-end was happy and bright! 😊

Here are some pictures I took when we drove around the town, hope you like them!
