le week-end [in pictures]

So,  over the week-end that just passed we had pretty busy days! I wish I could have a sleep in on the week-end that I don’t have to work. But it seems impossible lately!

Mister husband and I had a morning date to the (dog) beach to take our 7 years old golden retriever out for a bit of socialize 😀  We often think that Sammy is too much mingled with the kids that he started to think he’s part of human and he doesn’t really like to socialize with his own clan. It’s true though. Whenever I take him for a walk he’s a bit snob to the other dogs but very friendly to kids and adults!

The (dog) beach on Saturday morning, pretty busy 🙂

After mister husband finished his 7k ran, we had a swim in the refreshing blue water, and of course the four-legged had to join us too!  Then we had quick brekky at our fave café near by before heading back home.

Back home I had managed to get the Christmas tree out from the storage and settled it in our living room, yup the tree is up! Baked raspberry muffin before we out again to the basketball game.  My twin #2 was elected in State Championship basketball after a grueling 4 weeks hard training.  Their team won at the first day but unfortunately didn’t make it to the final.

On Sunday, my husband and I had to split up.  He went with twin #2 to the basketball game, and twin #1 and I were off to Mandurah (about 45 minutes drive) for Long Course swimming competition.  It was a very long day at the swimming, oh my!  We finally out from that place around 5nish from 10 in the morning, what a long day!  My boy only entered in three events this time, due to limited space.  The result was good enough, gold for 50m back and silver for 100 fly, plus a massive PB (personal best) for 100 free which was 1.12 from previous time 1.20…he came 5th in his age group, not too bad kiddo!  ( you know in the swimming race every second is count 🙂 ) Later on, mister hubby and twin #2 just made it to the pool for twin #2 had a race in 200m breast, from the basketball game straight to the pool.  Though he came 4th in his heat, but it was still a great effort of him, considering he wasn’t 100% recovery from his cold and he didn’t get time to warm up at all.  All his mates were cheering on him 🙂 🙂

We ended our Sunday at the steak and burger restaurant with the rest of the swimming team.  Yay dinner was done! 🙂  My boys were pretty much crashed not long when we finally got home.  Well, that was my week-end!  Pretty exhausting, perhaps? How was yours? What did you do? Did you go somewhere interesting or just chilax at home? Would love to hear!

Happy Tuesday everyone, it’s 24 days until Christmas, are you excited??!

  1. Ria, you with your pool, me with the ice rink on weekends:):). Well actually the kids had swimming Saturday morning, then off to the hockey rink for both then I took my K1 to Ballet class and back to the rink again to pick up hubby and K2. Sunday they had practice again in the morning then went home to do some school work and back for a hockey game. Then before you know it, I am back to work Monday morning :(.
I am going to the US (just 1.5 hours away) to do my Christmas shopping tomorrow. Still dragging to put up the tree at home.

My other boy wanted to play hockey next year, I said, wait and see!

I didn’t really wanna do the xmas tree but the boys insisted so they helped too😀
My Christmas shopping is half done so not too bad. Isn’t there many shops in Canada? Or perhaps it’s cheaper and more variety in USA? How nice, hope you enjoy your shopping trip to US! Happy shopping, Ga😘👌🏻
