happy easter!

So, did Easter bunny come and visit you? Did you get to eat so much easter eggs til your tummy hurt? 😜 Well, I hope you had a lovely Easter celebration with your loved ones.

We went to Moore River which is literally only 90 minutes drive from Perth. We stayed with our friends at their holiday house, and took all our dogs as well. So there were 4 dogs, ten kids, and three families altogether in the same roof! That’s the way some Australian spending their Easter breaksπŸ˜›

Almost every Easter holiday we would spend time together with our closed friend. Last year we went camping at Donnely river, you can read the story here, and two years ago we went camping in Bremer Bay.  This year we thought we would not do the hard-core 😜 and opted for easy lazy holiday house.

Tweegy and Freckles, aren’t they cute!

Unfortunately the weather was not really nice up in Moore River this time of the year. We had lots of rain on the first day so not much to do. We managed to have a drive to nearby town called Lancelin. It has the cool sand dunes and the kids loved it and on the way back home when we did a four-wheel drive along the sandy beach we got bogged…hahaaa so classic! It didn’t take long for darling hubby and the boys to fix it though!

On Easter we were woken up by the kids excitement of Easter eggs hunt. My kids do not believe in Easter bunny anymore but they still like to go for the hunt. After the hunt finished we were all settled for hash-browns, bacon and eggs brekky. Then we were off to church only to find out that the mass was finishedπŸ™ˆπŸ™ˆ Apparently it started at 8 am and not 9 am as we thought. Oh well…we had good intention anyway!

Β Then we were off to the beach. Though it was cloudy and the sun wasn’t smiling at least the rain had stopped. The men and the boys were fishing while the women were just relaxing at the beach munched on hot cross buns! Well, it’s Easter riiiight so we were allowed to be a bit loose on our diet intake excuse…excuse

How was your Easter if you are celebrating? Here in Australia, Easter is pretty much celebrate it with the family or friends over barbecue for lunch/dinner, eat hot-cross buns til you are too full, and stuff your face with those Easter eggs chocolate til your tummy hurt!😜😜

I hope you all had a good and relax time spent with your family and that you are safe where ever you are.
