drugstore products i ❤️ at the moment

Hi everyone, I’ve been MIA for some time. I’m not sure if I even remember how to blog anymore, tee hee…!  Anyhow, thank you so much for all the new likes and subscribes on OhDearRia Facebook page, your clicks mean a lot to me😘

I’m not a beauty blogger nor beauty influencer as you probably know, and I rarely write about beauty products. But, this time I’m willing to share with you all (because sharing is caring, right😜) some of beauty products that I’ve been using for quiet a while and I think it’s worth it.  Again, this is not a sponsored post, just paid it straight of my wallet, unfortunately 😅

Okay, enough prelude.  Here are they:

1.Garnier Skin Naturals Pure Active 3 in 1

If you have oily/combination skin this product is amazing.  You can use it as a cleanser, scrub, and mask.  I’m actually surprised by how good this product is.  In the summer time my skin tends to be a bit ‘hormonal’ oily but in the cheeks area is dry, and I will get pimples. Since I’ve been using Garnier Skin Natural Pure Active, my skin feeling clean and refreshed and I found this to be really reducing my oiliness without drying my skin. I love this product as a cleanser and exfoliant and I use it once every two days, alternating it with my other cleanser.  At just $10.95 it is very budget friendly!

2.   Skin Republik Charcoal Peel-Off Mask

I love love this mask!  It’s a mineral rich charcoal peel off face mask that combines purifying benefit of charcoal with the deep cleansing. Just apply on the clean skin, wait 15-20 minutes and peel it off. I always find it amusing when I peel it off, as if I’ve peeled off my old skin and get a new freshly younger skin hahaaaa..! My skin always feels smooth, brighter, and soft. Also, unlike other charcoal mask I’ve tried, this one is zero mess so I don’t have to worry about my counter covered in black. It’s definitely a thumbs up 👍🏻

3. NIP + FAB Exfoliate Glycolic Fix Overnight Gel

I just bought this gel by impulse. I have used the NIP +’FAB glycolic fix pad and it did wonder when my skin decided to rebel against me. If I have a naughty pimples I’ll apply my face with it and the next day my pimples were gone or at least reduce in size. So, this overnight gel is an overnight serum with 4% Glycolic acid to re-texture the skins appearance. If you have dull and oily skin like me, used this twice a week and it is said will make your skin brighter, helps improve the appearance of uneven skin tone, and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. I honestly just used three or four times so far, yes in the morning my skin feels smoother and fresher, but I don’t like the smell of the gel when I apply to my face. It smells kind of like a fish 🐠 honestly! So, that put me off a bit. Plus, I don’t want my DH feels like he sleeps next to  a dugong!! 😝

That’s all my humble opinion about those three beauty products that I’ve been using lately. I still think if you are blessed genetically lucky to have a good perfect skin, there’s not much to maintain it. And I also believe that a good diet, drink lots of water, enough rest at night, and no stress, are the keys to the healthy glowing skin.
