Hello, hello internet!
Last week, while my two boys were on school excursions to Canberra and Derby, le hubby and I decided to spend couple days in the countryside. Parents need a break too you know…a break from being a parent 😛
We went to Denmark in Western Australia ( I wish the one in Europe 😇 ) and stayed at Scotsdale Valley Studio, about 10 minutes drive from Denmark.
I can say everything about this special hideaway was perfect. The studio was spacious and well equipped enough. The homemade bread, eggs and ground Raven’s coffee waiting for us as a welcome gesture, were a nice touch.
The accommodation was in a natural bush/scrub setting. The surroundings were idillic, peaceful, and refreshing. We enjoyed the stunning views of surrounding paddocks and rolling hills, from inside the chalet you can see the quiet bushland outlook.
The location is well situated too. It’s not too far away from Denmark town centre but far enough away to give you the feeling of isolation. Its location is perfect for exploring the wineries and beaches of the area.
The place was spacious, clean, and comfortable with quirky antique decor and wood fire. And the amazing double showers and double his & hers basins, which I love, were inspirational! It has verandah with your own bbq for dinner, and you can enjoy your morning cuppa with the magpies, blue wrens and kookaburras! One afternoon when we had lunch, the owner horses came to visit us, they were so friendly.
Waking up to the sound of the Kookaburra and having breakfast on the veranda with a view of the forest was just magical. I could stay there like f o r e v e r!
If you want a peaceful out in the native bush and a bit of romantic couple retreat, you can’t go past Scotsdale Valley Studios. Highly recommended!
Tadi sampai beberapa kali baca, Denmark kok di Australia. Salah nulis atau gimana ya. Ohh ternyata aku yg salah baca haha karena sudah dikasih keterangan.
