Sorry no recent pictures of the crab, as I didn’t get a chance to take a pic, the chilli crab gone in 60 second 😝

my green lovers

I used to think that gardening or plants are just for old people.  I mean, when you are 60 and above, then it's the kind of thing you would do to kill time.  I often admired my late mother in law's  garden and amused with all her colourful petunias.  I always love pretty garden though, …

I haven't blogged any recipe posts for such a long time!  Pardon moi!  I had lots of fresh blueberries (they are in season at the moment) so yesterday I decided to make this blueberry pie bars. It's so easy and quick, with no mixer or rolling pin needed.  If you know me well enough, I …

bali baby!

Bali seemed like a good idea for this school holidays.  It just fitted our time frame perfectly. Since le hubby couldn't get much time off, so 8 days in the island of paradise was just what we needed.  We actually didn't really plan to go to Bali again, since our last visit was in February, …

Today is 14 years ago, when I spent almost 24 hours on the labour bed waiting for both of you to enter the world. But all the pains and uncomfortable feelings I had during those long hours was transformed into excitement, joy, and happiness once I held you both in my arms. Fast forward 14 …

kale salad with strawberry and granola

Hi everyone, it's been a very long time since I post about my cooking/baking recipe.  Honestly, most of the time I can't be bothered to cook, write the recipe, take proper pictures, and blog it!  It's so time consuming, I'm not that good in multi-tasking you know!  Especially when I'm not the expert in the …

glamping @ bellwether

So, at the last part of our Christmas holidays we decided to do glamping. I'm not sure glamping is the right term but you know what I meant right, it's camping but way nicer and/or extravaganza in my opinion. We came across to this glamping site called Bellwether.  The owner Sue Bell created Bellwether at …

I guess it is not too late yet to say, happy New Year everyone!  Where ever you are and what ever you do, I hope you have a good relaxing time with your loved ones.  My family and I spent our New Year's eve in very very low key. We had lovely dinner and went …

adios 2017

In a few weeks we will say farewell to 2017.  I am personally glad to bid good bye to 2017. Twenty-seventeen is a year of mixed feelings, it is a year of good and bad.  A year of not so lucky for my DH and I on the work stuff.  There had been backstabbing and …

Or have you tried it?  Kombucha, it sounds a bit hippy according to my friend's daughter tee hee....😁 Well, kombucha is basically a fermented drink consisting of black …
